Shower gifts

OK, this may be a dumb question, but...

I'm getting my mom, FMIL, and MOH thank you gifts for my upcoming bridal shower.  When am I supposed to give those to them?  At the shower?  Directly after the shower in person?  Send them to them later?  I dunno why this is so confusing to me...LOL

are we supposed to do shower gifts?  Would you give gifts at the rehearsal dinner?  I'm so lost sometimes.

Ugh!  I dunno what's considered "proper" with all of this...

I saw another post (I believe from UFsweetie) about giving her girls "shower" gifts which included shower/bath items from Bath & Body Works and thought that was a cute idea.

For the RD, I was going to give my girls their wedding day jewelry and something else NWR.  And possibly something small for the rest of the WP and parents.

Yeah I'm giving them the jewelry and barefoot sandals for the wedding.  I was going to send a thank you card for throwing the shower and bachelorette :)  I don't think my MOH did anything for me when threw her shower.  Can't remember but I don't think so.  I think something small would be nice though.

I just did a little token gift as a thank you for organizing the shower. Nothing major - and I'm sure a thank you card would go a long way as well.

You bring up a great question.  I sent each one of my girls a personal card & message - I went back and forth on whether to give a small token/gift and decided not too.  I did more for their wedding thank you gifts so I felt that kind makes up for it.  I plan on giving them their gifts at our welcome party "aka rehersal party"
