Ceremony Time?

I'm trying to figure out what time our ceremony should start....the wedding is August 13 and the ceremony is outside/reception inside. I would like to do it as late in the day as possible (I know it's going to be hot out) but all of our pictures will be after the ceremony so I want to make sure there will be enough light. Any suggestions?

My suggestion is to get with your photographer. They will be able to tell you when the expected sunset is for that day. My suggestion is to have the ceremony end about 30-45 min prior to sunset so you and FI have time to take some nice pictures at sunset and your formal pictures will have enough natural lighting. While night pictures tend t be "cool" if your photographer doesn't know the speed and aperature to have the camera at as well as stand alone lighting you will be sorely disappointed.

I agree with PP and find out what time the sunset is. I know we are going to take pictures with the sunset and that means walking away from the pavilion and closer to the water.
