    You show your stylist some pics of what you'd like,
    your stylist talks to you about what can be done with YOUR hair and YOUR face shape so you see that some of what's in the pictures you CAN have and some of it you should not have,
    your stylist does your hair.

    If you are having a cosmetologist do your make-up, that happens after your hair is finished.

    And then you leave to go to the photographer's studio where you put on your dress and get your bridal pictures done.  At least that's the schedule for truly southern brides.  Some more modern brides won't have bridals done at all.  But if you ARE, then you schedule it for right after your hair and make up trial, and your florist usually creates the sample bridal bouquet that day for you to inspect and use in your bridals.
