FI and I are from Miami and coming up this weekend to look at the area. We may move there so wondering what the good areas for a young couple who like to do things would be?! Any input on restaurants or areas we should look at?

    Depends what you'd like to do?? If you want to go bar hopping, Siesta Village is great, there are bunch of cool bars and restaurants, same in downtown Sarasota. We have an awesome Ringling museum if you are into arts or something else to do.

    Thanks. We went to the downtown Sarasota little village on main st. Then went to the mote aquarium. We will prob come back again next wknd to look at places to live
