Hey ladies (and gents???)

I have been stalking the boards for a month or so now and FINALLY got engaged last weekend so HELLO everyone!!

My FI and I are planning a beach wedding on AMI, probably at The Sandbar.  Our budget is TINY ($5000 MAYBE) and we are looking at guestlist of 50 at max.  We live in the Sarasota area so its not a destination wedding, but I have a fair amount of guests coming from out of town.

So far I have picked out about a zillion color combos but am 99% decided on yellow, white and black.  Its going to be casual although the FI does want a tux, which I find amusing since all he wears is cargo shorts.

ANYWAY-  budget brides, AMI brides, WCF brides... just saying hello...  :)

Anyone have any ideas, suggestions, etc? I'm all ears. Eyes?

    Welcome!  If you're on a super tight budget like that I would suggest a daytime wedding or even an hors d'ouevres reception to keep the cost to a minimum.  Also alcohol runs up the bill too so you might think of cutting back on that.  Pick a few things that you really really care about.  I have a friend that is trying to break into the wedding photography business...she did my engagement pics and she will prob charge you something very minimal if you are interested.  Good luck planning!
