Im new here, and have a question. Did anyone her get married on Floating chapel in Sarasota. Good bad, anything about them. It's so unique and different that we are going to check it out next week, but wanted to ask if anyone had a wedding there.

    Welcome to the boards!
    I did not get married on the chapel, but on the beach. My mom thought it was pretty cool, but my MOH can't handle boats so it wouldn't work for us. Tell us more about what you are planning for your wedding.

    thank you teachermegs, we are planning very short intimate wedding on november 19th, so the chapel sounded like a perfect spot for us to have a ceremony, not on the beach but on the water, we will have a reception on lido beach resort after the chapel ceremony. This is my first marriage and 2nd for Matt, i have a little daughter and he loves her like his own, i'm so lucky in that way :)
    We just started looking for florist, photographer and dj's, to see what we can get for our  budget. I know we really don't have a lot of time, so we are trying to book everyone as soon as possible.

    Welcome Lisa, i've never been to the Floating chapel, but it looks so cute and different from the side, i've been to the bar next door and saw it sitting on the water.
