My FH and I are getting married on the West Coast of Florida because thats where he was born and raised and where we attend college!

I have grown up on the West Coast of Florida and my FI has lived here since he was six. We met in 8th grade, started dating our freshman year of high school and are still going strong through college. We have many close friends and relatives on the West Coast of Florida and couldn't think of a better place to get married

FI and I are getting married on the West Coast of FL because this is where we call home. We only live a few blocks from our venue! To me there can't be a more picturesque setting in Florida than Ybor. It has such a raw historical beauty that nowhere else I can think of has. I can't wait to find some crazy backdrops for our wedding photos!  We aren't beachy people, and although WCF is an AMAZING place to do a beach wedding, it also had a great mix of other styles for us to choose from. From beaches to gardens, historic hotels, and even yachts! Love it here!!

FI has been living here most of his life and the majority of his family is here. I was born and raised in Chicago but have been down here since 2002 when I went to college. I fell in love with Florida and stayed down here. Since we both love living here so much we really wanted to get married here but not in the typical beach setting. Instead, we will be married under Oak trees at a beautiful country club.

Although we are from Michigan, we decided to get maried here because I've been vacationing here with my family ever since I was little and I love the area. For our first Christmas spent together with my family, my now fiance and I joined them in Florida and he also fell in love with Fl. Shortly after the trip he asked me to marry him! Latter on he told me it was on our trip to Fl that he decided he wanted to marry me. Fl ended up being perfect for us because it has both sentimental value and it's beautiful.

We are marrying in WCF because it's where we fell in love. Our three year relationship was cultivated on the sandy shores of West Central Florida. From sunsets to sunburns, we grew closer as a couple as we explored the coast from Sarasota to Tarpon Springs. We settled in Clearwater and are very happy to begin our lives gulfside.
