When to start

For those having a 7pm ceremony and are taking pictures beforehand, what time did you start having hair done and getting ready?

    Our ceremony starts at 6:30 and I believe we'll have the hair and makeup start around 11.  I'm pretty sure we'll start pictures around 2:30.

    much depends on how big your wedding party is and how far away you are going for pictures. I am getting ready less than 1 mile away from my venue. We are staying within a 7 mile radius for pictures. I have 6 bridesmaids and a flower girl. My hair dresser (my cousin) is setting up at 8 at our hotel. We are actively starting hair at 10 with Brideface coming somewhere around 12. Our pictures start at 2:30 outside  (travel time included to get groomsmen to the first meeting location and then back to pickup bridesmaids at 2:45ish) pictures should actually get going around 3, to the church for photos at 5 and then back behind roughly 6 for guests to start entering.  In my perfect mind, this should work, but I have a feeling we will be tweaking this a bit once the schedules come together.

    our wedding is at 6. So probably going to get hair and make up done around 12-1. Getting to the venue getting ready and pictures will start around 5

    I guess I never really thought about how we were going to do pictures(as far as boys, then girls, then together). But I would say we would start those around 3ish. So I guess 11 or 12 would work the best as far as starting hair and make up.

    Our ceremony starts at 7pm - we have hair appts at 11:00 am - then make-up appts. at 1:00 pm - then back to MOH house to have "lunch" and to get ready.  The limo is picking the "boys" up at 3:00 - taking them to our pic destination - they will start on pics - the limo will come pick up the girls - take us to the same spot as the boys and then FI and I will have our moment before the "together" pics are taken before ceremony begins.  I do plan on getting back a little before the guests begin to arrive so I am not walking in as they are coming and also to freshen up before the ceremony begins.     Yup, hair at 11, makeup at 1, pics at 3.  We are stopping at 3 locations and will be back by 5 to do family shots before the 7 p.m. ceremony (all 3 locations are within 1/4 mile and we are taking a party bus so no waiting for anyone to arrive).
