Venue Suggestions!!!

Ideally I would like to have an outdoor ceremony and outdoor reception. I am starting to get anxiety though cause rain would be devastating =) I realize that where I book would need to have a backup plan that I would be just (or almost just) as happy with...and that's the problem!


I do not want beach so I have been looking at country clubs/gardens/lawns, etc. The problem is that I don't want ballroom as a backup! Any suggestions on venues that offer unique areas would be helpful!!

    Tampa Bay Watch has a big lawn that's on the water but isn't beach.  Reception room is indoors, but has a bunch of big windows with views of the water, and a wide porch around it with plenty of room to set-up lounge areas if you wanted.  Back-up plan for rain - you get married on the porch instead of on the lawn, and the reception is already indoors.  Check out their blog for pictures - their website completely does not do them justice
