Unknown Guests- Hotel Block

So to add to the wedding drama this week, I got the list of people who booked rooms at the hotel, and there is someone staying 6 nights (the entire time the hotel is offering the reduced rate) and we have NO idea who it is.  FI and I have been going "under cover" all night, and still have no clue who it could be. We had at least 1 STD and 1 invitation lost in the mail, so I keep joking that it's wedding crashers.  Should be interesting to see who it really is! LOL

    Haha, that could have been a booking error by the hotel.  It would be interesting to find out if they were are trying to crash though!

    Did you try calling the hotel to find out the name?  I don't know if they'll tell you but it's worth a shot.

    We have the person's name on the list, but it's not one that either of us, or our families know.  I'm going to call my events coordinator tomorrow.  FMIL had originally invited a bunch of people by word of mouth, but she claims that she has NO idea who this person is.  It will be interesting to see wwhat really happens!  Or who it really is!

    Well the hotel should have their info on file and with that there should be a phone number as a contact.  I am sure that the hotel will NOT give you the number but they should be able to contact the guest and ask exactly who they are. 

    Remeber it could also be a guest that did not have a credit card at the time they were booking the room and maybe they borrowed someones card for the reservations only.

    Both hotels we blocked gave us a list of all the guests under our room block with how many nights they are staying.  I'm sure if you asked you could get that from your hotel.

    It could easily be just a mistake, our hotel emailed our list and my furture sister-in-law forwarded it to me for my review and I thought it was a joke because we didn't know ANYONE on the list.....Come to find out there are 2 Ambers getting married their in March and they sent the wrong list :)
