I tip 20%. The only other person I can think of is the person who is doing my hair and makeup. Are you doing a video? I know Some people don't tip owners I do.

Wow, I had no idea I should tip these people???  20% for my photographer would be $600 and my videographer would be $400.  Does everyone else do this??

I think tipping has gotten out of hand. I just posted something about florists asking for tips. Gratuity should never be expected. It really bugs me when it is included (my venue is doing an automatic gratuity for the caterer and wedding planner, and quite frankly, and I almost decided against using the place for that sole reason, I would have tipped appropriatly, just at my discretion, not at what they decide). It is for service above and beyond.  As someone stated on the board I just posted on, you don't tip the plumber. For services rendered, especially for those who own their business (ie not hourly workers), I don't think it is necessary to tip.
I have worked service jobs before, so I do understand that tipping is appreciated, but I just think it has gotten out of control.

True.. I guess I feel like tipping is just expected nowadays so I felt like I had to. And yes, it is adding even more to the budget.
