clearwater beach rec center

hi there! anyone get married at the clearwater beach rec center, in clearwater florida? i wanted to do paper lanterns and i'm not sure how many i should use and if that would look nice?

    A friend of mine got married there. She did paper lanterns, and they did look really nice. However, I don't know how many she used.

    that what i was thinking , they have them at macheals, cheap too !

    About two years ago, there was a very active Knottie named JenniLovesElvis (I think) and she was married there, and she posted about once a month about how that venue is often overlooked but is actually WONDERFUL.  I've never been there, but she was VERY enthusiastic!  You could try paging her on WCF Nest...?

    I did like it a lot for my friend's wedding. I think one of the best things it has going for it is that it's such a blank slate - not thinking of it as plain, but rather you can do anything you want with it. The setting is beautiful, and it was nice having the deck, and there's so much space in there - it was really pleasant being a wedding guest there! They got married out on the back lawn with the water as a backdrop.

    Hello! I'm planning my reception at the Clearwater Recreation Center and am wondering how I'll decorate it as well.  I'm planning a destination wedding and it's difficult planning from NYS.

    we are doing lanterns and uplighting since its so white lol !
