Places for wedding reception

Hi ladies! I normally post on the Central FL board for advice on my own wedding, however my friend is looking into getting married in Clearwater on the beach. She's planning to get married on the beach, and would have a guest count of around 50 people. Does anyone have any suggestions on inexpensive places for a reception? She mentioned she'd like to go to a hotel and use a banquet room, however I think if there was a cheap enough hall that she could rent and an inexpensive caterer, she'd be game for that as well.

Any help/advice is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!! TIA!

    Try the Rusty Pelican...and there is a Hotel directly across the straight called Westin.

    This isn't clearwater beach but The Sandbar Restaurant is VERY inexpensive and about 30-45mins south of Clearwater on Anna Maria Island. They have a wedding pavillion for the reception and include EVERYTHING, chairs, tables, dance floor, centerpieces.... you name it. With a guest count of 50 people you can definitely be married for around $2,500-$5,000 depending on the food you choose.

    There's a Columbia Restaurant on Clearwater Beach you may want ot check out.

    Columbia is nice, but you can't have dancing there and no private room- I am trying to get a reception on clearwater beach myself

    try the clearwater beach rec center... the rec center is right on the water and a 5 minute walk from the sand
