Photog HELP! Tampa/St. Pete

Hi Ladies,

I need help with some recommendations for local photographers.  We are getting married on 10/10/10.  (Yes, the "most popular date of the year" as we've been reminded by so many vendors already!)  I've reached out to several and many of the ones I love are already booked.  This is one the TOP of my priority list and I don't want to sacrifice quality just to book anyone.  I've found in my searches that there is a WIDE range of quality when it comes to photography out there. 

Basically, I prefer non-traditional photojournalistic images.  A little edgy and artsy.
Of course Jason Angelini is not avialable, nor is Jason Mize who I like.  This is the style I'm going for.  I think I've contacted between 50-60 photogs in the past month and I am on an "information overload".  So, I need any help you ladies can give...PLEASE HELP ME!

    Pure Emotions Photography is wonderful.  Alicia is the main photographer and she really likes doing more artistic and less traditional shots.  I know a lot of brides like Limelight.  Have you contacted either of those?

    Shakespeare photography (Simon) - I did my E-Pics with him and they look like magazine shots.  He is awesome;)

    grrr...I keep getting error messages on here, which is why I don't come on here very often.

    Thanks for your help girls!  I certainly apprecaite it.

    We're getting married at the Mirror Lake Lyceum in downtown St. Pete.  We absolutely LOVE the venue!  It's more than we could have hoped for and more affordable than all the other locations we checked.  It's perfectly in line with our vintage glam feel for the day.  I'm super excited.  Just completely overwhelmed right now.

    Off to send more emails...

    Kelly Embry (www.kellyembry.com) is doing my wedding next year. She also did my sisters last spring and the pictures were amazing. She is really easy to work with too.

    Welcome to the boards.  Why don't you start a thread an introduce yourself?  Sometimes when we see new folks on here, posting to a thread about a specific vendor, it is a red flag. 

    The knotties here are very nice and would love to hear about your wedding plans.
