DJ HELP...

Hey ladies! This is my first post but I have been looking for a DJ since we got engaged in March 09. The problem I am running into is that I need ceremony music for an outdoor wedding! My ceremony and reception is at Royal Oaks Country Club but everyone has quoted me $1000.00 or more for both. Sorry I just dont see paying that kind of money for a DJ!! IF anyone has a DJ for a reasonable price PLEASE PLEASE send me their info! Thanks Ladies and Happy Planning

Check out Maize Music. I think they were $595 for just the reception so they may be less than those you're quoting, and they do an awesome job.

Brian Childs is the same. He is great. Email me if you need more information. kelklump at gmail. I met with him last night and he has done both the ceremony and receptions plenty of times. Just remember if you are outside, you will want them under a tent or in the shade, their equipment can overheat if its in the sun too long.

I just got a quote from Maize and it was $995. I have heard of places giving different prices to different people though. I am using Elite Entertainment in NKY and it is $795 for 5 hours. The DJ's name is Jim and he comes highly recommended from several people.

I am also using Maize Music, and I know the quotes depend on the month, how many hours, and whether or not I wanted lighting. I looked into all of it. I will say though, I have been to a wedding that Nemar Maize d.j.'d, and he was well worth it!
