Ft. Myers or Sanibel Island wedding

Hi! Has anyone been married or is planning a wedding in ft myers or sanibel island? I love sanibel but am worried about prices. Is ft myers beach cheaper? In particular, Pink Shell Resort looked pretty. Has anyone been married there that could offer some insight on prices? Thanks!

    I'm planning my wedding on Sanibel Island. Pricing really varied depending on time of year and amount of people.

    Congrats!!! Yes, Pink Shell is less than Sanibel pricing in general- it could go either way depending on the variables mentioned above. It is a very nice hotel, with great water views.   You could also check out Sanibel Harbor Resort which is in Fort Myers just before the Sanibel bridge, so there's quick access to the island. 
    The other big hotel on Fort Myers Beach that does weddings is Diamond Head. 
    As far as Sanibel prices, if you are somewhat flexible, they are often willing to work with you. For example the time of year, lunch wedding, weekday, lesser food and beverage option, etc.   Just call/email and talk to them. Good luck!!!
