Hotels near Sandpearl

I am getting married on June 9th at the Sandpearl. I was trying to find other hotels that my guests could stay at since some may not be able to afford the resort. I called the Hilton and they are actully giving me a higher price than the sandpearl. Most the guest will not have cars so it will need to be in either walking range or trolly range. Any suggestions?

    They could stay at the Residence Inn downtown Clearwater and trolley over to the Sandpearl. I know they have a cheaper rate than some beach hotels. There are so many hotels on Clearwater Beach and all are walking or trolley distance to your location. We used Quality Inn on the Beach and it was like 130 a night.

    If I were you, I'd ask the wedding coordinator at the Sand Pearl.  They may have a hotel they cooperate with in the area.

    The Marriot, Shepherd's Beach Resort, Holiday Inn, and there are several motels in the trolley range

    Try Pelicon Point.  Nothing too special, but very affordable, on the beach, clean, and has a nice pool.  I've stayed there before and it is walking distance to the Sand Pearl.  http://www.theclearwaterbeachhotel.com/
