500$ fee for rehersal at paul brown stadium???

my fi and i have decided to have our sep. 2010 ceremony and reception at paul brown stadium. i had their coordinator e-mail me a list of the pricing requirements and rental fee ect. when i later asked her about how we will schedule the rehersal she informed me that there is 500$ fee to reherse there in addition to everything else we are paying! does this sound right?  is anyone else getting married there ?, and do you have to pay this extra fee too? it seems like alot. but where else would we reherse?

I considered Paul Brown for my wedding but after talking to a few couples that had their wedding there, it got very expensive. They dictate a lot of vendor requirements. One friend's father was an attorney and even looked over it with friends because of their strict rules and guidelines. Make sure you go over everything. Most places dont charge for a rehearsal, but if they are charging that much, you might want to find out what else they are charging for.Good luck!!! Its a beautiful space and they do a good job, just make sure you know the costs involved.

We do not have any rehearsal fee at our venue, but it does not surprise me that Paul Brown is charging one. The stadium was our second choice and we didn't choose it because they were coming up with extra fees for everything (it was going to cost $500 to move chairs across the room, and an extra fee if we wanted to let our guests go outside for cocktail hour, etc). Perhaps if you ask to asked to have your rehearsal on another night (maybe Thursday) or the morning of the wedding they wouldn't charge you that fee? Otherwise, I'm not sure you'll be able to get around it...unfortunately.

We were married at GABP, and they didn't have a fee. But there is a significant price difference between GABP and PB.
