J. Annette's Cheesecakes

Hello everyone....I have 2 weeks off from school (yay) so I'm trying to get some wedding stuff done. We tasted some of J. Annette's cheesecake @ a bridal show & since then FI has decided that he wants cheesecake instead of regular cake . Seeing that this is only his 2nd request we're looking into booking her for our wedding next year. I was just wondering if anyone has used her or has any additional info on her before I write another check. TIA

We are using Darlene with J. Annette's. I have been to two weddings that have had their cheescake and it is yummy!! I am trying to remember but I think we are paying $3.25/slice. We are going to do a 4-tier cheesecake as the actual wedding cake, but we will also do a white sheetcake for those that don't care for cheesecake. One thing to keep in mind with a cheescake is that she can't decorate using dark colors because the cheesecake has to remain frozen and when it starts to thaw the dark icing tends to run.

I understand why your fiance wants cheesecake after trying J.Annette's! He is a wise man. :) My family has been getting cheesecakes (with icing on top is the best) and cakes from here for years. They are always amazing and every time we have it, people ask us where it's from. My aunt even drove from Northern Kentucky once to pick up a cake (this was before they started a store in N. Kentucky). I highly recommend using them!

Did you check out Jerry's Cheesecakes, too? We used them for our wedding and they were freakin' awesome.

We love J. Annette's and used her for our wedding last October. They are great to work with. Like pp we have been going to J. Annette's for years, we've even had them ship cheesecakes to MI for us when we moved out of state. I would highly recommend her, actually we just got a cake from her about a month ago for our housewarming/graduation and it was delicious! Everyone was commenting on how yummy it was.
