We are unexpectanly expecting so the wedding has been moved to MAY from NOVEMBER...... but we will be finding out the sex just a week before the wedding and would like a unique way  to announce the sex of the baby to all of our friends/loved ones!! any suggestions.... thanks in advance!!

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS!  What a blessing!

I saw a cute post a few months back on TN where the parents actually wanted to find out the sex together with all their family and friends at the shower, so they had the doctor's office call the bakery to tell them the gender and had a cake made with either blue or pink frosting inside.  So, when they cut the cake everyone could see the color of the inside of the cake.  I thought that was very creative and fun!

That way, you could do it at the reception when it is time to cut the cake.  Even if you and your FI knew ahead of time, it would be a very special moment to share with all your guests.

How Exciting, If you do pink or blue something along with your favors (if you are having them at all) or like Bre said do a colored filling for the cake.

Also, maybe your garter can either be pink or blue, if you are doing the garter toss
