Music and Lighting
AWESOME! My wedding had the best music and everyone was on the dance floor until the very end. Dan was so helpful throughout the entire process. He took my notes and created the perfect wedding music playlist. Beyond music, he was incredibly nice, funny and helpful. He kept my husband and me on track the whole night and even helped with timing for our outdoor ceremony since we didn't have a wedding planner. He did the music for ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. I HIGHLYrecommend him to any bride. If you are like me and think that music is key to a good party, DJ Dan is definitely a top pick.
We also used Sword Sounds for a gobo light and uplighting. If you can afford in your budget -- add the lighting. Created a beautiful elegant atmosphere. It really made the room.

Laura with Beneva Flowers is a genius. My flowers were beyond gorgeous. The flowers were designed impeccably and she captured my vision better than I could have ever dreamed. If your wedding is in Sarasota have a consultation at Beveva -- you will not be disappointed.

She is one of the nicest most fabulous people I have ever met. Her work is amazing and she is one of the most enjoyable people you will ever meet. This is the person you want to be by your side for the entire day. Loved her and her work. Also, she had never shot my venue before so she drove to Sarasota to scout locations beforehand. She is a true professional with a great eye.
Cakes By Ron - A-
The minus is only because there customer service needs a little work. But if you want a truly gorgeous cake that tastes amazing, go to Cakes by Ron. The service may lack a tad because they know how good they are. When I was interviewing florists, they asked who I was having for my cake. Once I said Cakes by Ron, they both said, "oh you won't need flowers from us. His sugar flowers are works of art." They are right, the cakes look and taste for themselves.I received tons of compliments on how delicious the cake was and gorgeous the cake looked (without disgusting fondant icing).
Sarasota Yacht Club - A+
Whitney is the nicest, most fantastic person to work with. The new Yacht Club is beyond stunning. We had our ceremony and reception there. Aesthetically, there is no comparison to any other venue in Sarasota. It is way nicer than the Powell Crosley and the Ritz, and the ballroom is all windows overlooking Sarasota Bay. And, the food and service were amazing! Drawback for some, you have to be or know someone who is a member. If having a wedding, go see the Yacht Club. I was told by so many people that this was the most gorgeous venue they have been to. The building and location are exactly what your guests expect when they come to Florida.
Destiny & Light – A+
Hair and Makeup These ladies were truly fantastic and so talented! They came to my hotel room in Sarasota and did my hair and make-up, as well as 6 of my girls and the mothers. They offer both airbrush make-up and regular make-up. Make-up even included lashes –which most people charge for. All of my girls seriously looked like movie stars. And, they were able to work with lots of different hair types. If you want to see pics, just let me know. Even better, they are one of the most reasonably priced companies I found. These women are super talented and I would 100% recommend them to anyone. My sister is getting married soon and she can’t wait to use them after my wedding. My lead stylist was Genacia. Definitely call them and go to a trial. You won’t be sorry! Create Your Own – A+ Candy Bar Fantastic! Ask for Jody. Candy Bar was a huge hit. I will note that it is more of a basic candy bar versus some of the gourmet ones which average $7-10 p/person. This is half the price and looked fantastic. The colors were great and it was a huge hit with all my guests.
