Hey girls, I am in desperate need of a Reliable Dj for my June 30th wedding priced at $300! Any suggestions would be great!

    Check craigslist. My friend is doing ours for free due to wanting to build his resume as he is an artist himself and wants to DJ on the side. A lot of up and coming will book at lower rates to get their name out there.

    Just don't forget you'll need a sound system, too! That will cost you, so may be best to ask what your venue includes; then load up an ipod and blast it out their amps or rent through a DJ service, friend, Craigslist as PP said, or music store.

    Try talking to different DJs and asking them if they will do a shorter time frame. Just get you from introduction of bride and groom to cake cutting to begining to boogie. Then use an ipod for the rest of the party. Careful about someone just starting out, they may not have the ability to pick the party out of a slump.

    My DJ charged me 300 for four hours with lights and fog show..
