Venues. Clearwater, St Pete Beach, Ft Myers Beach

Hi, 
 Has anyone had their wedding or been to a wedding at Sirata, Grand Plaza, Pink Shell or anywhere else in the vicinity. I would like an outdoor ceremony, and preferably an outdoor reception (but it doesnt have to be). I appreciate it.

I'm getting married Nov 4th on the beach @ the Sirata.  Cocktail hour on the breezeway/deck with reception in their Royal Palm Ballroom (8th floor).  RD will be there too @ Rum Runners.  So far everyone has been great.  When I first called I told them I wouldn't get to their minimum so they worked with me on that too.  Let me know if you have any questions....I'm happy to help.

I have been to lots of events at the Pink Shell. They have always been a great time   Their ballroom is beautiful with tons of windows directly overlooking the beach. The view is amazing.  The hotel rooms themselves are also really nice, and most of them overlooking the pool/beach directly with great views. They have tons of suites with 1/2/3 bedrooms which is great for getting ready and out of town guests. They also have 2 nice pool areas right next to the beach.  Good luck and happy planning!

Dont know why I cant send a private message... But anyway, what other venues did you consider, how many guests are you having, are you from the area, if not are your guests staying there? Thanks for the help.
