So this is going to sound weird but  I was searching all over as well. At first I was going to do a real flower and still might. However, I bought a fake white rose from Michael's for my trial with Mr. Sam Hills and after he had all of my hair finished, we decided that the flower looks EXTREMELY real and we thought that it might be safer to stick with the fake real-looking flower. So after all that, I may not go through the hassle of getting a real one. We will see....

TwistedCrystals on etsy did my hair flower. It's on it's way to me. The pics are gorgeous but I can let you know in the next few days how it is in person. She is very quick though- you should check out her work. www.twistedcrystals.com Or, use a real one?

a few quick suggestions (i wear these things all the time in the summer as is) I would suggest not using a real flower. They will wilt and the chemicals in hairspray and other hair items will cause this to wilt during the night. to purchase a flower on your own... make sure if you do you understand how to properly affix it to a clip or a comb. If you just use a superglue - it will come out. The last thing you want is a clip or comb combined with hot glue stuck in your hair at the end of the night. Try to use someone on etsy. I used pinmeup couture. Brideface is actually selling a lot of her items at the bridal studio if you want to stop by and look. I had her make custom items for my bridesmaids and i love them. Good luck. You will find something that works. (I just found mine two weeks ago)

Go to Micheals, Hobby Lobby, etc and look around for a white flower that you like.  Then take it to your trial and your stylist should be able to pin it in.  This is what we did for a wedding I was in, she just pinned them in.

I'm wearing two green mini cymbidiums in my hair on day-of. Orchids hold up very well to heat, and without water. They will be just fine for many hours on that day.It really just depends on what kind of flower you will use. I mean, stephanotis, while cute and adorable, will probably last an hour or two at the most. It just depends. If you would like a real flower, consider an orchid (dendrobium or cymbids look nice) OR a fake one. Talk to your florist. He/she will know what holds up best in your hair.
