TOMS Shoes for Wedding party

I know alot of people have different views on the whole chucks for the bridal party idea. But I guess this is a different spin.The cool thing about TOMS is when you buy a pair, they donate a pair to kids in Africa who need shoes. FI and I wear TOMS shoes, and he really wants to buy a pair for each of his guys to wear at the wedding.What do you guys think about think about this? Originally I only wanted them to wear them at the reception, but the more I thought about it the more I didn't really care if they wore them all day, ceremony included.The reason I like the idea is that its not just a fashion statement thing, its doing something good too. Oh, and while I have your attention does anyone have a good site that has instructions to make a birdcage veil? I am having a hard time finding good instructions.

I'm no good for the veil instructions, but I love your idea for the shoes.  I think plenty of people do it and love and there will always be people who are more traditional that will gasp at it.  Do what you guys want and what you like.  Not many people truly notice shoes anyway!

My FI always wears VANS and has since he was little, so we decided a while ago that our BP (the guys) would be in the Old Skool Vans and this would also be our gift to them since they are so expensive. I think it puts some personality and uniqueness into the wedding. And our guys will be wearing them for both the ceremony and reception! I can't wait...it will look so cool!
