Ring Cleaning

How do you all keep your rings clean?  I have been cleaning mine in white cider vinegar and brushing it with a soft bristeld tooth brush head, but I was wondering if there was a better way.  Our jeweler gave us one free cleaning before the wedding, and we will be taking it in October, but i feel like I can't get it all sparkly like they can.  What do you all do?

They seriously charge you to clean it?  I think you can go in to most any jewelry store and get your rings cleaned.  FI bought my ring at Jared and I go in there all the time to get it cleaned.  My friend and my mom have gotten theirs done as well, and they didn't purchase them there.

I've never even thought about cleaning mine myself...

Kay Jewlers will clean your rings for you free of cost. They will even inspect it for loose diamonds before cleaning it.

I go to Continental Jewelry if I'm in the area, if not I will go to the watch/jewelry repair shop at Wiregrass and they do it for free.

I have never heard of anyone charging for it...especially if you bought the ring at that location.

Whenever I'm at the mall I stop into any one of the jewlery stores and they clean it free of charge.

At home I use this purple solution I got at the flea market and it comes with a little brush, then I rinse it with HOT water.  Even dish soap works with warm water and a soft bristle toothbrush.  I've also had the chick at KAY jeweler's at the mall clean mine b/c I got my journey necklace there.

Agree with PP, I take mine into any jewelry store but there is a watch repair/jewelry store in wiregrass I take it to when i'm over there. They seem to get it the cleanest.
