bridesmaid dresses

ok so i have a bridesmaid dress that i love! however, i really dont want to make my bm spend $200 - i was trying to find one for 150 or cheaper area but i seem to keep comparing everything to this one dress ($205) - i am buying my dress from a store that doesn't carry that designer so i can't get a discount there... has anyone ordered bm dresses online?? i feel like that is really risky but i can find them cheaper online than in a store! suggestions??(the dress is "after six style 6553)

Oh those are so cute! Maybe have each girl go try it on, so it's sized correctly and then order online from a reputable person? I also heard that there is a shop in trader's world that can order from lots of designers at much less expensive prices. GL!

I don't know what your budget is like, but if you don't want them spending all of that amount, maybe you could spend part/all of what you were going to spend for their gift on the dresses if that is ok with them......Just a suggestion!

I feel you...me and a couple of my BM's found a dress we loved by Valenta but it was over 200 @ B&F. I did a ton of searching online because B&F does do price matching so if you wanted to try to look online & then talk to them because I find mine for less $170. OR I have had friends get dresses from both pearlsplace.com & netbride.com. Both are part of the BBB and none of them had any problems ordering them offline. Good Luck.

You should look on "The Dress" board.  The ladies over there know dresses and there have been quiet a few posts about reputable online shops.

Did you try Land of Oz? They sell designer dresses at wholesale and they are local... on the Westside. I would try calling them. A lot of girls order their bm dresse there.

Try Pearl's Place and Netbride.com. You email both of them and they give you a discounted quote. We got our dresses from Netbride and they turned out great and they came in early. A $180 dress for $107 - not bad! One of my bridesmaids is getting married and we're using them again. She also looked at Storeofdress.com but they actually take the designer's dress and make it themselves which means it's not the same quality and I think it's probably illegal (since they show the designer dress on their website but that's not the product you get). If you have any questions about Netbride you can email me at ross344 at hotmail dot com. GL!

We picked a dress for our girls by Alfred Angelo.  It was about $180 at B&F.  I found it online at ebridalsuperstore.com or something like that, printed the picture of the dress w/ the price they charged and took it into B&F.  They price matched with no problem.  We got the dress for $120 that way, so it def saved my girls quite a bit of money.  I am pretty sure that they sell that designer there, so its worth a shot.  They are usually pretty easy to negotiate with.  GL!

I ordered my FG dress from http://www.bridalexpressonline6.com/. I had an excellent experience and the dress looked even more beautiful than it did in the photo. They even had an inventory glitch, but communicated with me right away and through the process to keep me calm. Take a look!
