I just started to look for a DJ. I heard DJ Felix at my friend's wedding (mnmccloud) and he was great! I also heard DJ RJ Vida (with Breezin and Advanced Entertainment) at a bridal show and liked him too. So my question is what is average price for a DJ for 4-6 hours?

    You're looking anywhere from $650 - $1350 depending on how many hours.  I think Felix is the most expensive.  Check out Rob Sword too.  I hired him and he got the best reviews and is the least expensive of the bunch. He's gives a special deal to Knotties.

    I would say a normal price for a good DJ should start at about $900 and go up from there...I have heard really good reviews on RJ Vida and he also did a Platnium Wedding on TV not to long ago here in St Pete.

    What time of day is your wedding? Mine is in the morning and my DJ, Tony Lang from Grant Hemond & Associates is charging $495 all inclusive from 11am-4pm plus time before to set up

    DJ with just a bogo is $950 for 4 hours...and worth EVERY dime!

    Were using Rob Sword and are paying  Under $800 for him to be our DJ and also beour offiiciant. were having our wedding on a Tuesday, and he is traveling so prices dovary. He's been so helpful and already offered to help out with the reception, and ceremony.

    Prices will vary based on the day and also time of year.  During off season you can easily find $500-$800 but expect up to $1000 for a busier time of year.

    Thank you everyone! I just found out that RJ Vida is available for our date and that he is $875 for 4 hours. I might be going with him :)
