Rehersal Dinner

We need some help!
We are having about 40 people to our rehearsal, and we have been given less than $1000 budget to feed all those people.
Our wedding is in Bradenton, The South Florida Museum. We live about an hour north, so we are not entirely familiar with the area.

Does anyone have a good place that might work out for us?
Thank you!

We're having ours at Macaroni Grill and depending on what you get their prices range from $18.49 per person to $24.49 per person. This does not include tax or gratuity.

I'm not familiar with Bradenton but you can easily do something for $20 per person or less at a local restaurant.  We had a limited menu that DH parent's worked out with the owner so that everyone had a choice and it included drinks, soup or salad, and meal for $10-$15 per person.  Look for something that is close to the rehearsal location using MapQuest and you should have several options.  Good Luck!

We are renting a beach pavilion and getting bbq. Will be very inexpensive!

We are having ours at Treviso at Ringling Museum.  They have a private balcony area that holds 40 ppl so that might be a good option for you.  Ann Marie (the catering manager) is great to work with and very accomodating.

I was born and raised here, and I think it depends on what kind of food and atmosphere you like.  Though it may be more of a drive if you're coming from the north, there are a couple places on Anna Maria Island (like the Sandbar and Rotten Ralph's) that are favorites.  They are on the north end of the island.

If you like Italian, Carmen's Italian Restaurant is east on SR64 and is delicious and has a nice atmosphere!  It's a little pricey, but the owner is also the cook and is from Sicily, so the food is authentic.  I would call them to make sure they can accommodate your numbers, though.

I'm not familiar enough with the Twin Dolphin (in downtown near the museum) or the River House at Regatta Point (across the bridge in Palmetto) to recommend them, but they are quite close to your venue.

We also have places like Atlanta Bread Company, Olive Garden, Outback, and Applebee's scattered around Bradenton.

If you hear of any other places in this area and want to ask me about them, please feel free.  :-)
