Tuxes

I was wondering where everyone was getting their tuxes and the prices they're seeing at various places.  Almost all of the groomsmen, one of the dads, and the ushers are all out of town and I know that Skeffington's is supposedly very good about getting measurements and if something doesn't fit, being able to exhange whatever piece the day before the wedding. Does anyone have any experience with this? One of our groomsmen is very very tall and one of the ushers is very short, so I am a little bit worried about not being able to find a replacement if we need it. Any advice would be great! Thanks!

We are using Skeffington's and love them!  They have been wonderful to work with.  If I remember correctly, the guys will pick their tuxes up/try them on two days before the wedding.  That way if something should happen to be wrong or whatever, they have time to get the right one to us before the wedding day.  You can go in at any time and look at their styles, colors, talk w/ them, etc.  I won't be married for about another 50 days, but we have used them in the past for previous weddings and never had a problem.  HTH!

We used Folchis, mainly because they have their warehouse on site.  So when one of our OOT groomsmen submitted the wrong measurements (because he was too lazy to go get measured), and his tux ended up being about 4 inches too short, Folchi's was able to replace it right away, no problem.

We are using Men's Wearhouse. They have coordinating vest/tie colors with David's Bridal. That doesn't really matter for us since the dresses are black, but it worked great for my FBIL's wedding. The tuxes we picked were 139.99 (they start at 109.99), but they had a deal where if we got it all there, they got 20% off, plus groom's tux free, and they guy said they also have $20 off coupons out pretty often.

We are using Folchi's and love them so far. We are paying 140 for our tux, but its their high end tux with a high end tie. Its worth the few extra bucks.Good luck!

Definitely Folchi's. My FI has used him for other events and they are great. We haven't gone to look at tuxes for the wedding yet, but when we do we will be using them. They warehouse all of their tuxes at their Kenwood store which makes it a lot more convenient if any OOT measurements are off. I also heard that they are giving $30 off if you mention the TK. I have never heard anything bad about Folchis!

We decided to use Peppe Ramundo's after looking around and trying different tuxedos on they are Great. Great pricing and what a showroom!  They showed us how they put the tuxedo's together at their warehouse/store. They put so much time an effort putting together the tuxedo's they are perfectionist!!!! All of our gm are from out of town. They assured us no worries they will be able to handle out of town mistakes!

I also used peppe ramundos on glenway. They were awesome and I highly recommend them. We got our tuxes for $90 each and the RB's for $45. All of their inventory is stored on site and they also do all alterations on site. 9 out of the 11 tuxes we ordered were OOT and we had no issues. We also LOVED being able to support a local business owner. www.pepperamundoandson.com

We are using Folchi's. We went last night to Folchi's and another bigger company, to try and figure out which to use, and I was so much more happy with Folchi's than I was the other company. They really listened to my worries about Brian fitting properly in a tuxedo, because every wedding he has been in, he has looked like a little boy trying to fit in a grown up tux. I felt so much better after we left Folchis than when we left the other company. And when it comes to prices, since we have 7 people renting tuxes, they gave Brian's his for free, but said he could divide the amount up over the other guys to make it cheaper for them, and that is what he did. So for him, even with having a higher end tux, it will be about 120.
