getting wrinkles out of the dress?

Where do you take your wedding dress to get the wrinkles out? Im not sure if im going to get it hemmed because if I find tall enough shoes it should be ok. But Im not sure they do that. Do I take it to a dry cleaner even though it doesn't need cleaned?

and how soon before the wedding should I do this?

A dry cleaner can steam the dress for you. You should do it as close to the wedding as possible, so it doesn't have time to  get wrinkled again.

If you have a place where you can let it just hang, you could get it done 1-2 weeks before the wedding. But if you need to put it in the bag, as close as possible. My mom had my closet doors open with a shower curtain rod across it and my dress hanging from the rod, that way it wasnt crammed in a closet or pushed against a wall, just fell naturally.
