What do I say?

Ok..the 15th is coming very quickly....which is R.S.V.P. deadline..YIKES!  Anyway, what do I say to those who didn't r.s.v.p without sounding like a nag?

Just be as polite as you can, but be direct.  "We have not yet received your RSVP... will you be able to make it?"

Remember... they are the goons who didn't send in the RSVP... they are the ones being rude

    Ditto Monica,
I sent a nice message to those who were missing saying something like 'I was wondering if you got my invitation and if you were planning on coming, I need to get back to my venue soon, if you could please let me know, thanks.'

That's more or less what I did.  I'm just waiting on 1 more and I'm leaving her a harder message if I still don't hear from her by tomorrow night: tell me by Wednesday or I'll have to put you down as not attending.

Thanks! I just wasn't sure how to say something like that!  I would say like 1/2 of all of my people haven't responded at this point!   I was thinking maybe a few would forget or whatever...but half?!??!?!?

You could use your venue as an excuse if you want -- "My caterer needs a count by Monday!"
