Really not trying to be a bridezilla...

but it's going to be 80 degrees on Saturday. I planned a fall wedding so I wouldn't be melting in my huge ballqown. I said I would be happy with anything, as long as the sun was shining, but I don't know how I'm not going to pass out from heat exhaustion. Curse you, Mother Nature! How do you summer brides do it?

Where are you getting married?  Also, what time is your wedding?  80 degrees will be the peak temperature for the day! Just be happy you're going to have nice weather (probably) and that it's not snowing! :)And honestly, meteorologists are wrong about 75% of the time....so who knows, maybe you'll just get a cool 70! Good luck!

I know, I'm being a brat about the whole thing. The part that worries me is the ceremony. It starts at 4, and the church is probably going to be boiling (it usually is in the summer). Hopefully no one passes out.

Well if it's any consolation, the temperature has been dropping pretty quick post-3pm...welll at least where I am! It should cool off relatively fast! Especiallly since the weather has been so mild previously, I don't think anyone will pass out! Is the reception outside in a tent?

My brother got married two weeks ago in Syracuse, and it was beautiful during the day, but absolutly freezing (not-literally) after about 5pm!

I think this is the first time I've ever read a post about it being too warm/sunny for a fall wedding! LOL... But yeah, it will be beautiful and cool off fast! Don't worry! At least it won't be snowing :-)

I think you'll be fine :)  With the sun setting earlier, the temperature drops faster.  Take lots of photos with the sun and gorgeous leaves!

I had a huge 8-10 layer dress in 78 degree heat. And my wedding was at 12 in the sun! I did just fine, but I also got lucky b/c it was the first day the sun shone and was not raining in almost 2 weeks, so everyone definitely enjoyed it. Im sure it'll be fine.

    Im so excited for you!!

I'm actually really glad it's going to be sunny. I can't wait to take pictures with a pretty blue sky and the fall leaves. That idea alone is the reason we went with a fall wedding. I'll just have to get one of those little portable fans or something Tongue out

My mom and I used to joke that Id have to get a little battery operated fan and have it strapped to my leg to keep the air flow goin under there!
