Surprise!!!!

So this morning after my shower, I ran down the stairs in my chonies to throw a pair of pants in the dryer (to get the wrinkles out, ya know)... Hanging from my ceiling at the bottom of my stairs was a huge piece of tape with a sign that said "Surprise" then something else that I didn't bother to read.  I thought Kevin had gotten me some sort of gift, so I happily bounced down the last few stairs and...

GASP!! HOLY !%$#!%^&$#

There were 2 people sleeping on my couch.  I covered myself and ran upstairs to re-read the note (and to WTF my hubby AND my super vicious guard dog).

"Surprise!  We got in later than expected.  Please let us sleep!" 
I guess it would have been wise to read the entire note before bouncing down the stairs in my undies.

So WHO is it? 

My super fun brother and super awesome brother-in-law.  They are like best buddies now and it's hilarious!  They have been planning to surprise us for like a week now.  I am SOOO excited that they are here... and so thankful that they slept through my impromptu fashion show.

Haha that is too funny. I guess if they were awake, the surprise would have been on them. At least you didn't go down completely in the buff like I do lol.

Hahaha. Thats awesome. I run to the dryer in my birthday suit too, so having my BILs there woulda been quite the surprise on oth of us! But yay for the surprise! I hope when Josh and I move outta state (Im insisting) that our family surprises us too.

Lmao!!!  You're absolutely right!!!  If THEY had been awake, the surprise would have been on THEM- for sure.  I did manage to throw bottoms on, but no top.  Usually, though, I am doing the mad "I'm late for work" dash around my house in the buff too.  lol.  Good thing I put undies on today!!

You narrowly escaped what could have been a very uncomfortable situation! I like to sleep au natural in the summer and everytime I go to bed early when we have guests over (i.e. a party) I have to remind myself not to walk out of the bedroom without throwing something on in case someone passed out on our couch... I've had many a close call myself

Haha - I'm picturing your super vicious guard dog.  Lucy is too cute to be an efficient guard dog.

Haha I had this image (before I learned you had no top on) of you in your undies sliding across the floor trying to stop yourself and run the other way. Like a cartoon character trying to run but going no where. Thanks for the laugh
