bridal show

is anyone going to the bridal show tomorrow??  I am going to drive down (Syracuse is a 2 - 2.5 hour drive south for me) with my FMIL.  Don't know what to expect, but hoping to get some more options for reception venues.  2 of my top choices are either too small, or would require an outdoor reception (I am super prone to bug bites and get severe reactions, so outside is not an option).  Also want to meet some caterers as am hoping to be able to choose one and not have it come with the venue.

my fiance and I will be going, we went to the one last month at drivers villiage, after the last bridal show, we booked all our vendors except a limo.
Lots of people to talk to, lots of information pamphlets, definitely take everything home and price compair unless someone is offering a HUGE price deal today, which I found no one gave such a great deal last time that I had to absolutely book that day or lose such a bargin..
it was a lot of fun though.

I'm going to one next weekend in Ithaca; I think it'll be pretty small.  I went to another lame one here last month, but I did get ideas for cake vendors.  So I figure there's always something to learn!

this one was not very good at all. too many people in a tight cramped space, WAY less vendors than last months bridal show at drivers village.. like not even 1/3rd of the vendors! you cant talk to almost any vendors becuse you couldnt move! thankfully I got the info from the limos I needed and we sat and waited for the "fashion show" saw one dress I liked. Going to try some on tomorrow.
but overall, Im glad I went to the drivers villiage expo.. this one was very lack luster..

Oh, that's disappointing.  But at least you got a couple of good things out of it!
