So... after a long weekend in Harrisburg, I have returned to Syracuse and... to a cumulative final for my nursing class. I didn't get to study anywhere near as much as I wanted (and needed) to. My GPA right now is a 78.9 and you must have a 75 to pass... meaning I really need to do good on this exam. Someone please send some geniousness my way today!!!

PS- Grams is.... well... hanging in there. She is on comfort care and it will, likely, be a matter of days. Today they will be transporting her back to her (super awesome) assisted living home which has been her "home" for the past few years. The staff at Harrisburg Hospital was amazing and it brought the whole family a sense of peace to see her so well cared for and comfortable, but I think, being a proud woman, she would prefer to spend the remainder of her time here at "home" vs in the hospital..

I have to be very thankful that I was given the opportunity to say goodbye... so often our loved ones are taken in the blink of an eye without a last chance to say "I love you"... so we are all very blessed in that respect.

Im sorry about your grandma, but you have an amazing outlook on the whole situation. Its great that she has a place to go back to that she loves.

Bridgett said exactly what I was thinking about your grandma.  I'm glad you got to go spend the weekend there.  Let us know how you did on your final, hopefully all went well!
