Weather :-(

I know it's crazy to check the weather this far out, but I did it.  And as of now, there are supposed to be periods of rain on my wedding day.  And rain the day before too, so the ground might be muddy.  Frown

I have a super-cute, personalized umbrella and rain boots the same color as my wedding shoes, but I still don't want it to rain!!

The weather people are NEVER right!  Check tomorrow...it will be different!  :)

I wouldn't stress... it's not something you can control.  You have done all you can- heck you are even prepared with an umbrella and boots... you're just going to have to leave that part up to fate.

Rain or not, your day will be gorgeous!!!

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

How did you get a weather report 13 days out?  The earliest one I could find was 10 day report and that got me to mid next week.

I really hope it's not raining, otherwise we'll either have to have the ceremony in a tent outside or in the reception venue...grrr...

Wait until next Wednesday for a more accurate prediction :)  I've been anxious about weekend weather before, but they're usually wrong when they say rain this far out.

I almost don't want to tell you, but you can find it at accuweather -- they have a 15 day forecast.  It seems to rain more in Ithaca than Syracuse/Utica, so you might be okay.  And of course, hopefully it will totally change before then!

you will probably be ok.. mine has gone from sunny to cloudy to rainy to sunny again. With 6 days left I hope it stays sunny! These things change so much until it gets to be within the week...

I started checking 10 days out. It showed rain 2 days before, the day of, and 2 days after my wedding. It was constantly changing, except that it ALWAYS showed rain for the day of. It didn't change until the day before, and it ended up being a GORGEOUS day!

Good to know!  I know it's silly to worry, but I can't help it!

    Sarah,
Even if it does rain, you may have the same luck as my friend for her wedding at Fontainbleu. It was soo overcast and threatening right up until the bride walked out onto the grass and the clouds broke and the sun came out! Then, as soon as the last guests were in the Inn and under the tent for cocktail hour, it started to sprinkle. It worked out perfectly-rain doesn't mean it's ruined!

Good point!  Thanks for that.  Our ceremony isn't even outside (it's in the chapel), but I do want nice outdoor pictures and for our guests to have a good walk from the chapel to the inn!
