My FMIL told my FI yesterday that apparently the place for my bridal shower is all booked. The date is July 2 and it's at a restaurant in NJ (I have a lot of relatives that live there and a lot of my friends live in NYC so it's the logical place to do it as we are recent transplants to Ithaca). Apparently that was the date that my bridesmaid who is setting it up found that worked best. I don't remember her actually asking ME if that was a good date, but I'll make it work of course. (ha!) I probably just said something vague, like any weekend is fine in the summer; I can't remember. I'm excited and surprised that they're working on everything so early. So sweet!!
