Ok so Ive always been interested in human behavior of all kinds. Ive bounced around within the field of Psych and Soc Work b/c I just couldnt decide which I was more interested. Thats just a small summery to explain why I find this so interesting.
So everyday on my break I have a short walk that I take through the parking lot and around the building. The sidewalk around the building is one of those like double wide sidewalks and for whatever reason I always walk on the left side. So here I am walking for 10 min and Im literally on the left edge of this sidewalk and a girl (maybe 25-30 yrs old) comes walking toward me and veers for her right side (my left) and walks straight at me and actually says "excuse me" so she can pass me on the right vs not veering anywhere, walking straight, and passing me on the left (which of course is not typical in the US)
Just something I found interesting, that she had to follow the norm and ask me to move rather than walk on the left side of the extra large sidewalk. Word.
