Band suggestions

Hi -
I am looking for wedding band suggestions in the Finger Lakes area. I am not from the area so am not familiar with any of them. Anyone been to any weddings with memorable bands?

Thanks!

We are using New Day Band out of Syracuse.  www.newdayband.com
They played at a wedding we attended and absolutely loved them!

Prison City Rockers are SO much fun! Or check out Ruby Shooz. Both are pretty well known in this area, perform at weddings, are a blast, and are bound to leave your guests with a great impression. Let us know who you pick!

We had originally booked Nik and the Nice Guys for our May 2010 wedding, but after deciding to change the venue and date, had to cancel with them.  They came highly recommended by friends who used them at their own wedding, as well as attended weddings where they played.  We paid a non-refundable deposit to them to secure our date.  If you are interested, we are willing to have the credit transferred into your name (must be done by August 2010, one year from the date of cancellation; the event can take place after that as long as the booking is made within that time frame) for a reimbursement of only part of the deposit fee.  Basically, you are getting the full credit amount to use as you wish for a fraction of the cost.  Nik and the Nice Guys is part of the Nik Entertainment Company based out of Rochester that offers a variety of options including ceremony musicans, specialty and tribute bands, and the traditional 7 or 11 piece party bands.  I have a Gig Inquiry Form with specifics on the bands I can send you if you are interested.  Please let me know if so, or if you have any questions.  Thanks!
