So... after yesterday's post from rsfan, I thought I would get one rolling today....

Is your mom just the greatest?

Are you doing anything special to honor her at your wedding? (or if married, did you?)

I would love to have some sort of mother/daughter moment.... love to somehow incorporate the Carrie Underwood song "Momma's Song"... just not sure how.  I wouldn't mind a mother/daughter dance.... but with the father/daughter and mother/son and anniversary and first dance... I am thinking our younger guests will be like "ok get ON with it... we want to boogie"

Both our moms will be lighting the candles to use for the unity ceremony... but my mom is super awesome and I want to do something special for her in some way.

Thoughts?  Tell me about your mom!

Oh man, Im not gunna be much help. Im in the same boat.

My moms awesome despite all the times Im ready to scream at her. She gave me the best wedding shower and has put so much money into the wedding...not including the chunk shes already paying for.

I wanted to get her something for the shower, like make a "thank you" speech then but I was so lost on what to get her and then the shower was there.

Ive thought about Mama's Song too. I had a friend whose DJ announced dinner and said "while youre waiting on your turn to get your food, J has asked that we play Mamas Song by C.U. in dedication to her mom and everything that she has done for her"

I could use ideas too tho!

I'm glad you guys posted this. My mom and FMIL are the best and I would love to do something for them at the wedding. My mom is footing most of the bill and really wants  my wedding to be great (which assuming I don't have a stoke by then, it should). But I also don't know what you do for her. I think I might steal the Carrie Underwood song idea from your friend too.
