Emie- Hair and Makeup in Geneva

Please Help.  I keep having nightmares that I cant get my hair and makeup done before the wedding and it ruins everything...
So I wanna figure out now who will make me beautiful the day of my wedding.
Google search shows about 8 or 9 different salons in Geneva.  Which one would you suggest I check out and which ones should I avoid?

Please help...make the nightmares go away. haha

First off - what day of the week is your wedding?
I am hardcore in love with my hairdresser, although I've lived in Rochester now for 8 years I drive to Geneva to see her!
I've already referred like, 14 girls to her, but she does not work on Sundays. She does not always work Saturdays, but usually will for a wedding, and she is the best in Geneva, and very very reasonable.
She is at Unique Touch, which is on Pre-emption Road, and her name is Danette Stewart. My second choice there is Kelly, she's also very good. (don't remember her last name) They are the least expensive as well, and most talented, but the salon is not anything to write home about..
Next choice would be Studio Salon - it's more expensive, but they have make-up, and they do good hair. Danette used to be there back in the day, but left because of the drama, I've had good experiences with Cindy, but Nancy (owner, she's old) is a little extreme.. she loves to bleach hair and go overboard. It's an aveda salon, I don't know who does makeup now, but I'd think it would be one of your best choices.
Next option is Posh. It's on Washington St. I hear they do an excellent job, but you are really just paying for the "posh" atmosphere. It's overpriced for Geneva standards.
I personally wouldn't go anywhere else for hair. For makeup, I have someone from Rochester, she actually is the makeup artist from Del Monte Spa, but I have a hook-up with one of the girls who works there -she's been doing my facials and brazilians Surprised,  for years, and if you aren't happy with Studio Salon I can find out if she'd want another traveling gig. I haven't talked pricing yet, but I think it's going to be in the range of $75, and she does do lashes and the whole she-bang.

You are amazing! Thank you soo much.  The wedding is on a Sunday so Danette is probably out.  But you gave me sooo much to work on. Im going to try local first cause my budget is itty bitty but ill keep the Rochester lady in mind.  I hope Danette gives you a nice discount for our your referrals!

Oh for sure, Danette is a long-time friend after being a part of my life for the past15 years (and after all this time my mom, and my SIL have gone to her as well!) .. she is a guest at my wedding, so she's coming to Canandaigua and doing my hair at my hotel Smile
I recommend to still start with Unique Touch - and still ask about Danette - because if anything she might let you know who she'd recommend next in line. I don't know if it's just because It's me -but the last wedding I was in, they did the bride and other bridesmaids for $35 each - where at the other salons its closer to 50 or 60 or up.
Just let me know if you need anymore help!
