Groom's Cake

Kev, if you for some reason decided to take interest in TK and somehow sniped my account and are reading this, you are dead meat!!!

I mean it

Everyone else-

Is anyone else doing a groom's cake??
I just talked to Lori at Club 86 and will be doing a rice crispie treat cake (one of Kev's favs) in the shape of a hocky puck w/ the Pittsburgh Penguins logo on it.  Whaddaya think?

This will kind of sort of be like a surprise gift to him on our wedding day.

I want to do one of the Stanley Cup...the FI loves hockey, and we saw it made on "Ace of Cakes" (my favorite show!!!), and he was SO excited about it...haha

I think this is so fun!  My FI loves Chipwiches...not sure if we can make this happen, but I'm going to look into it.

If it were in my budget I would def do the beer as well. Of course Josh said he wanted a casket....but I told him if he wanted that he was paying for it on his own.

He did however make his own beer for a while and had a logo drawn up and everything...so now Im thinkin maybe Ill have a case of beer cake with that logo! Woo!

FI parents are Kosher so we thought of doing a grooms cake with the kosher caterer.

I love the rice Krispie idea and the choc and pb inside.. that's FI's fav too.  unfortunately i dont think they'd do beer, but i'm not sure what they could do really, i'm sure it's not as common with them  :)
