I'll spare you all the details, but I'll be leaving TK for awhile. Yesterday a whole lot of issues came up with my parents about the wedding. The biggest reason being they aren't comfortable with me planning a wedding when I currently am not in school and don't have set plans to finish school. That along with some financial issues and some other concerns with the family. It's really unfortunate that they decided to bring all this up to me two days after we booked our wedding venue, but sh*t happens I guess and I have no control over it.
Overall, I'm not a total mess - the wedding is still very much going to happen, the venue is still booked for our original date next September and that won't change - I just need some time to work things out to make my parents more comfortable about having this wedding. After all, this is supposed to be the happiest time of your life right? So I want to make sure that everyone is happy about it. It will just be easier to put some of the wedding planning on the back burner for a little bit so I'm not completely stressed out.
