Sooo.... I'm an idiot

I drug myself out of bed this morning at about 6:45, jumped in the shower and quickly got dressed.  I was cursing myself for running late and ran out the door at about 7:10.  Hair soaking wet, makeup half done... the usual.

I fly through L-pool praying that I don't get pulled over and drive past carousel to avoid what I was certain would be rush-hour traffic.  I drove up Clinton and the other side streets like a bat out of hell.  As I am flying up the hill next to the VA at 7:32... I realize that I don't have to be at work until 8:00.  Genuis.

Needless to say, I immediately passed the VA and drove to the nearest DD for some much needed caffiene.  If the rest of my day is anything like the first hour... I'm in big trouble.

Haaaahahahha. Im sorry. If it were me Id be fuming that I lost out on precious sleep time. But Ive also been there before. Josh was oot for a solid 2 weeks one time and I did the whole jump outta bed cursing bit, and got to work and no one was there....b/c it was Sunday.

Dont let that ruin the rest of your day tho!

Lmao, BridgetT!!   I did that once... in high school, I snuck out one Friday night and got a little wild.  I drug my hungover self out of bed and walked all the way to the bus stop on a Saturday at like 630am.  My mom stood in the kitchen, told me to have a good day at school (b!tch... lol) and watched me walk out the door.

I waited at that dang bus stop for an HOUR in the FL heat, then... all ticked that the bus forgot me I stomped home.  My mom was laughing so hard she cried when I walked back in.  I was less than amused.

Me and my friends were notorious for doing that. My mom was 100% against letting me sleepover at a friends on a school night but one day in HS thought 'oh what the helll' and let me. We were up til maybe midnight and she woke up at 230 and without looking at the clock woke me up, and we both headed for the shower (2 seperate ones :P) and got ready for school. We were eating breakfast when her mom came down asking us what the hell was wrong with us. Haha. My internal clock has never been right.
