WTF 2

So I just posted a review of the jewelry store where I took my rings in the Vendor Reviews section.  Told the whole story there so I won't repeat it here.  But I am still infuriated and I have now posted that review on every online site I can think of (citysearch, yellowpages, yelp, etc) as well as filing a complaint with the BBB.

I am hoping to take the rings to a reputable jeweler in NJ tomorrow to get them looked at to make sure they're not irreparably damaged.  We will probably try to get FI's ring re-engraved somewhere, but I will hold off on mine.  It might be better to get my engagement ring done instead of the wedding ring, but I will wait until after the wedding.  I plan to send the band to the store where we bought it to get the diamond put back in next week.

So sorry, Sarah.  I hope the jeweler in NJ can help you out.

Do you have a jeweler in NJ? I know of a few very reputable ones around the state if you need suggestions.

Chelsea, I was figuring FI's parents would know one since they live there.  But if you know of anyone good around the Parsippany, Morristown area I'm all ears.

I'm sure they'll have suggestions but just in case: Braunschweiger Jewelers. I had my engagement ring re-sized there because it's my future MIL's go-to jeweler. We went to the New Providence location but there's also one in Morristown.

ETA: They were wonderful. My engagement ring belonged to my fiance's grandmother so it was a size 7. And I'm a size 4. Apparently, that's quite an adjustment to make, but they did it perfectly.
