A bit late today, but what did you get done??

We're in the process of writing thank you notes for gifts from our engagement party. It was this past weekend - so, so much fun and beautiful weather for the outdoor gathering.

Went a little crazy

I bought a new pair of shoes for the wedding after my breakdown last week.  I think that's a better compromise than buying a new dress at this point.  Talked to the priest today, he's going to call me Monday.  This weekend is our church's festival so it's a little crazy right now.  Set up our rehearsal.  Met with one of the couples from church to do our precana earlier this week.  Started putting my bridesmaids gifts together last night.  I guess I'm more productive than I thought.

My mom bought her MOB dress today.  It's a jacket and skirt combo, and the color is "ice" (light purple, almost blue).  She said the beige color was just blahhh, and I don't want her to feel like blah lol.  Other than that, not much from me.  Congrats on all your checks girls!

1. Met with hair & make-up artist for a consultation.  Loved her!  Feeling confident now where I once was not.

2. Bought some little things for decor: ribbons, candles, tulle, etc.

3. Dress fitting!

4. Almost done with shower thank-you notes.  Have about 6 more to go.

Put together all but 6 invitations (still waiting on addresses) Darn people moving and such..

Fitting appointment in 2 weeks
ordered mini half moon cookies for my welcome bags
put the brochures in the welcome bags
called for hair appointments (i'm behind, I admit it)
set up makeup trials

It's Wednesday again already????   Where did the week go?   Actually, now it's Thursday...oops!

1) Found a place that does air brush make up around here...finally!!!
2) Started writing my shower gift thank you's for gifts I have received (I got my     two top gifts...yay!!!)
3) Found a shower dress (shower is this Sunday)...but I think I want to return it

Crazy that it is Wednesday/Thursday again...aaaaaaargh!

1) Booked Boldt Castle for the Wedding on July 4, 2012
2)Set up 3 appointments for next Sunday to check out possible reception sites that have views of the castle and the fireworks.
3)Booked Photographer
4)Booked Officiant
5)FI asked BM, and he accepted!
6)Started to look at dresses

Not off to a bad start, You other girls are amazing, and a true inspiration to this girl!  Thanks, and keep the ideas flowing!
