Our groomsmen dropped their pants after we were pronounced husband & wife.  Apparently my husband knew about what they had up their sleeves... but I was in the dark! "

WTF would you do?  I think it is so unbelieveably disrespectful.  I'm all for a good time and usually one of the first to lose articles of clothing... but this.... wow.... hubby and I would be fighting, for sure!!!

*edited to correct some wording.  (Bridgett's gonna flip chit on this ... sorry... but...) I do not agree w/ the recent law passed.... I just meant to point out that it is not only new state laws/public beliefs that are "destroying the sanctity of marriage"... but rather it seems like a big fat joke to lots of people.

ETA: (again)... this was not meant to turn into a religious or political debate.... just wanted to share a video of a couple of bozo's making a mockery of someone's wedding and see what everyone else thought about that.  notsomuch the lgbt wedding thing.... it was a really bad example that I originally used, sorry!

I would have flipped and told them to leave. I would have instructed bartenders and waitresses not to serve them if they chose not to listen and if DH didnt take my side, hell would have broken loose.

People are so incredibly rude! Its a freakin wedding! Woman (usually) put soooo much though, time, and effort in to this amazing day and just like that some bastards can ruin it.

I would kill them. Then, I would refuse to let them into the reception. Then, I would kill my husband and bury his body in the white sands of whatever tropical place we're going to for knowing that was going to happen and not telling me.

Oh woooooow. I think I would be pretty upset! I wouldn't care if they did something like this maybe to walk into the reception, but not as part of the ceremony.

No flipping a chit here. Im trying to teach myself to let others have their opinions no matter how moronic I think they are. Im not going to change everyones mind and my sanity is not worth fighting to do the impossible. If we lived in a world where everyone thought the same way, this world would be boring and I wouldnt be striving for the job I want. So I will contiune to fight for my beliefs when the time is appropriate and smile big when laws are passed that support them

Monica, I like you too much to let our different political/religious beliefs get in the way of that.

Edited: Just to add a point b/c my previous comment sounds off with your change. This just goes to show that you dont need to be gay to ruin the sanctity of marriage which throws off the whole "gays marrying makes makes marriage a joke" arguement. Straight people do that well enough on their own (pretty sure divorce rates prove that)

I'm about at the same point as you.  My beliefs are my own and I would not try to push them on anyone else or drive myself crazy trying to change their mind.  I will fight when the time is right and through the right avenues and keep my mouth shut when appropriate (still trying to work on that one though)... This is a forum for fun and venting, not politics and I'm very happy that we can keep it that way!

I couldn't agree more.... which is what I was trying to say in my OP, but I didn't word it very well.  These idiots made a complete mockery of the wedding ceremony which proves, to me, how highly they regard marriage in general.

oh yeah no. The reception was over an hr later. He was drunk and smokin cigs and I was dating a guy who had this ridiculous "you cant do anything" grip on me. I fell hard.
