How was your weekend??

I had my bridal shower yesterday (from my coworkers) and it went way better than I thought it would!  I found the most perfect shower dress at Target, which of course, made the day even more awesome!!  We got totally hooked up with gifts too, which is always a good thing!  Oh and the food was great!

In other news, we finallygot our couch and TV.  No more playing rummy in our folding chairs for hours.  True, we could have been more productive and done WR stuff instead of play rummy... but.... yeah... no.  So couch- check, TV- check.  Now this week, maybe we will work on cable and internet.

Oh mine was half and half. I got NOTHING done on my paper thats due Wed. No I take that back....my name is on it. And yes, I saved it! Haha.

Zumba made me huuuurt! My thighs are killin me but I had so much fun!

Sunday I discovered that my washer is busted. It fills up, swishes and stops. So I had to pull all our clothes out, wring them out, toss em in a basket (which was incredibly heavy btw), carry them up the stairs then down the front porch stairs, soaked my car, and I spent an entire day at moms doing like 5 loads of laundry. Still got nothing done on my paper.

Happy Monday ladies! 

yay for showers! I can't wait for that part, well really I just want to register already

boo for broken washers... mine just got put back together being without laundry is horrible my hampers are over flowing. 

We had a god weekend, got a lot of house stuff accomplished and had a date night Saturday at Red Newt on Seneca lake. It was awesome we had the chef's menu five course meals which they paired with wines for you and everything was fabulous, plus we had an early reservation so we sat on deck and made it down to the cottage to check on stuff and then a relaxing drive home.  I needed a night off from the house and work.

Also my kitchen will be officially finished when the cabinet faces are hung tonight. Thank god I can say at least one room is complete out of the whole house, and we picked an purchased paint for the rest of the downstairs should be a productive week, my parents are in the city so we're staying at their house which mean I can paint whatever and not worry about dogs running into or licking wet paint.  Or passing out from the paint fumes

 (seriously what is the matter with my animals that they'd lick paint off the walls??).

Haha I ask myself that question everyday! Its not wet paint, but the dog will eat or lick anything! His favorite...Joshs feet at the end of the day. Freakin gross!

Hello, ladies!  I had a good weekend.  Can't believe it's Monday already!

Friday I didn't do much of anything except go to bed early because I was so tired from getting up to watch the Royal Wedding (Bridget, you're such a sap!   No, I kid; I cried a tiny bit too.)

Saturday, FI and I went to the ring store again and I decided that I really like one!  The salesperson is getting an exact price in my size.  We're actually going to look at some more rings in NJ over Memorial Day just to have a few more options, but I think this one might be the one.  Then at night, we went to a Spring Fling Party where the dress code was island chic.  I had to wear sweats over my island chic during the walk over there b/c it was cold!

Sunday, I did an MS Walk.  It wasn't as fun as I had hoped.  It was actually really small!  And it was only 2 miles and we walked kind of fast, so it was done before I knew it.  Then I made oatmeal raisin cookies.  Yum!

Oooh... speaking of rings (Sarah just reminded me)... I almost forgot...  I dropped my e-ring off to be re-rhodiumed before the wedding so it's nice and shiney... and ended up getting an awesome deal on a new center stone.  I was super nervous to ask Kevin about it b/c he can be really sentimental and I thought it might hurt his feelings, but he was psyched!!!  He said he wanted to get me a new stone anyway (upgrade from 1/2ct to 1 ct) and this was perfect!!!  I can't wait to see what it looks like when it comes back!!!  It will be the same band which I love and a huge new gorgeous rock!!!  woot woot!!!

Let's see...Friday I got up and watched the DVR of the Royal Wedding. I loved it, but I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff anyway. 

Friday night we went out with 2 other couples for a little bit, then came home.

Saturday, we bought carpet for our living room from Lowe's. Did usual chores of laundry, outside stuff. We went for a bike (bicycle) ride and that was nice.

Sunday, had a friend over for burgers, that's about it.

Great find at Target Monica!  That's a really cute dress.  Sounds like everyone had pretty good weekends!  My weekend consisted of working both jobs Friday, working again on Saturday, AND working all day Sunday too!!  The good news is, I just put in my notice because I will be working at a bank for the summer!  Not my dream job, but it helped me get my life back on weekends and enjoy my summer!  The best part is, I'll still be able to fill in at the restaurant if someone needs a day off.  I'm a little nervous to not have that money coming in regularly, but I'd rather lose the money than my mind!
