Totally NOT wedding related... but what the heck

So... I posted this on the CNY Nest board, but thought I might give it a shot over here too...

I need ideas for inexpensive Christmas gifts...

So... I have about a bazillion co-workers (pretty much all of them doctors, NP's and PA's who make a LOT more money than I do).  I always feel obligated to get everyone a gift of some sort for Christmas.  I realize this is not supposed to be an "obligation" type of thing, but you know how awkward it is to receive a gift form someone and not be able to give one in return.

So... last year I gave everyone a bottle of wine.  Easy, but not exactly inexpensive (we're talking like 30-40 co-workers... ugh... makes me nauseous thinking about it).

This year, I am trying to save for a house AND pay for my own wedding.  The bottle of wine is just not happening.  I am looking for something easy, inexpensive and thoughtful that I can feel good about giving everyone.

Any ideas?

I was thinking cookies or fudge or something like that, but just not really sure.  People seem to bake so much around the holidays that they are not too excited to receive MORE food.

Help?!?!?

How about hot chocolate or tea? Flavored coffee if they drink that? Its cold out so they might appreciate somethin warm...specially if its somehthing they can  leave at their desk

coffee cups filled with some chocolate - go to TJ Max and pick up some cute cups- coffee cups, tea cups - for $1-2 each and get some christmas chocolates fill them up and wrap in paper and tie with ribbon on top or just put a ribbon on the cup. Its easy and everyone can use a cup at work - that is what I am doing for all my co workers in the lab :-))))

I ran into a similar situation last year but it was with my fiances' giant family that always buys us a ton of gifts.  I went to Michaels and bought clear Christmas ornaments.  Then went to the dollar store and bought the shiny red and silver tinsel, and put that in the ornaments.  Then I wrote merry Christmas, put them in a pretty box with some of the silver tinsel on the bottom and put a bow on it.  Everyone loved them and they were very inexpensive.  Plus it's something they can keep and re-use every year.
    good luck!
